The sound of the gondolier’s song echoed softly, adding a romantic touch to the scene. Passing under low - lying bridges, I could see people strolling along the narrow streets above, and the smell of freshly baked pastries wafted from nearby cafes. The canals of Venice are not just waterways; they are the lifeblood of the city, connecting its historic sites and creating a unique and magical atmosphere that is truly unforgettable.
