 The Benefits of Exercising Outdoors
Exercising outdoors is better than in a gym. Fresh air and sunlight boost mood—studies show outdoor exercise reduces stress. I love running in the park, listening to birds and feeling the wind. Nature also inspires creativity. Once, while hiking, I saw a beautiful waterfall and wrote a poem about it. Outdoor activities like cycling or hiking engage more muscles than gym machines. Last weekend, my friends and I played beach volleyball—we had fun and got fit together. Next time, skip the gym and move outside!
