The Joy of Reading

The Joy of Reading
Reading is like opening a door to countless new worlds. Every time I hold a book, I forget my daily worries and dive into different lives—whether it’s a detective solving a mystery or a farmer fighting drought in a small village. My favorite book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry. It’s not just a children’s story; it teaches me about love, friendship, and seeing the world with a pure heart. When I read, I also improve my vocabulary and writing skills. Once, I used a phrase from a novel in my essay, and my teacher praised me for my vivid expression. Reading also helps me relax before bed. Instead of scrolling through my phone, I read a few pages, which makes me sleep better. In a busy world, books are my quiet sanctuary. They remind me that learning and imagination never stop, no matter how old I get.
